The Challenge
Anton's practice spans sculptural works, lighting, and wearable metal pieces. The task was to design a consolidated commercial identity and a dual-site digital ecosystem that simultaneously:
- · Develop a timeless visual identity rooted in minimalism and material tactility
- · Build a Shopify-powered storefront optimized for product photography, collections and conversions
- · Create a gallery-style portfolio site for discovery, SEO and archival use
- · Deliver a full set of commercial and marketing materials (print + digital + sound)

Design & UX Approach Yakushev Studio
Identity & Visual Language
The identity emphasizes tactility and restraint — bold negative space, a considered typographic scale, and a limited material palette that echoes metal finishes. The visual system is flexible to work across small-format items (business cards, invitations) and large-scale posters or exhibition signage.
Digital & E-commerce Experience
For the commercial site we prioritized fast-loading imagery, clear product taxonomy, and collection landing pages that target purchase-intent queries. The gallery site was optimized for discovery and engagement with fullscreen images and narrative entry points for exhibitions, press and process.
Technical & SEO Tactics
- · Structured collections and descriptive product titles for long-tail e-commerce searches
- · Alt text for every asset, responsive images (srcset + sizes), and lazy loading where appropriate
- · Schema.org markup for CreativeWork, Organization and Product where suitable
- · Clean URL patterns and canonical tags to avoid duplicate content across the two domains
Minimal Business Card Design
As part of Anton Yakushev’s unified brand identity, we designed a set of minimal, premium business cards that reflect the craftsmanship and elegance of his work. Every detail — from typography to paper stock — was chosen to convey sophistication, durability, and tactile quality.
The design relies on clean lines, ample white space, and balanced typography to keep the focus on the artist’s name and contact details. A restrained color palette, inspired by metal finishes, ensures the cards feel timeless and seamlessly aligned with the rest of the brand system.
- · Letterpress printing on heavyweight cotton stock
- · Matte finish for a soft, tactile feel
- · Minimal front layout; essential contact info on the reverse
These cards function as concise, tactile representations of the artist’s brand, creating a memorable and lasting impression with every exchange — whether in the hands of collectors, curators, or prospective collaborators.

Professional Image Processing & Optimization
High-quality imagery was essential to communicating the detail, scale, and materiality of Anton Yakushev’s work. We carried out a complete image processing workflow — from studio photography adjustments to final web-optimized exports — ensuring each piece is presented with clarity and visual impact.
Our approach balanced artistic fidelity with technical performance. Images were retouched to accurately reflect texture and color, while responsive formats and compression ensured fast loading speeds without compromising quality.
- · Color correction and tonal adjustments to match physical works
- · Precision cropping and composition for both print and web contexts
- · High-resolution retouching to preserve fine detail in metal textures
- · Responsive image sets (

This meticulous attention to imagery ensures that each artwork is not only seen but experienced — whether viewed in a gallery space or on a mobile screen.
